Way deep down south in the great state of Texas hails a 24 year old that has been thru hell and back to get where he is now. He has always loved music and music has always loved him. He wrote his very first rap at the tender age of 9 in the back of his learning book about a girl and since then nothing else has changed but the songs he now writes about. Trouble started to come his away around the age of 14 dealing with family problems, drugs,guns,gang affiliation,,robbing, stealing etc... which led him to being incarcerated on and off and shipped off to boot camp only to return worse.But his love for music never changed, he would write down every feeling and tribulation he went through as a way of escaping reality. At 17 His mother no longer could take any more pain from him and it was time for him to no longer live under her roof. Running the streets homeless he quickly had to learn how to take care of his self for good not for months at time like the past when he would runaway and return back home but to survive and be on his own forever. So he basically slept in cars and abandonded houses when it got cold or he had been up for days and couldnt go no more without rest. While everyone else his age out there was hustling for shoes,clothes, to support their habit, and to hook up their cars because they weren't homeless he did it to survive and to eat. He held on to his dream of being a rapper when that dream felt so unreal due to his situation. That was 7 years ago and today he has created his own label (I-35 Rydaz/Blockstar Ent.)which includes his sister (talented R&B singer) Onyx and brother hostyle (who is currently doing 7 years in a federal prison) and cousin Big Mike, released 3 major mixtapes (one with Slim Thug's official Dj Mr. Rogers), has opened for major recording artists around Texas,developed many relationships in the music business with some major Artists and companies.He has an upcoming album "Blockstar" he is currently working on about his struggle to get where he is now. The first single "Blockstar" was done by Young Jeezy's producer T.A. from Houston and has everyone who has heard the track in awe!!! This will definetely not be the last time you will hear from Yung Maine again! It is destined!!!!!
