In case you were wondering, I was born and raised here in Virginia Beach, Virginia. At the age of 7 (June of 1994), I started to learn how to play the piano, and from there, I enrolled in piano classes at Lakewood Dance & Music Center. I was registered in Early Works Preschool at age 4 then one year at Little Creek Elementary at age 5. Then, I transferred to St. Pius X School, and attended school there for 9 years (My 1st grade year, I got left back once). But, I retaliated and made it through the next 8 years. I admit it! I was a class nightmare & nuisance to the students & faculty, however, the strict curriculum prevented me from getting expelled & "thrown out." The nuns were VERY tough by disciplining me & I appreciate them helping me with my struggle. Because if it HAD NOT been for them, I WOULD NOT have been a partial success as I am today. After I graduated from St. Pius X in 2001, then I enrolled in Lake Taylor High School, home of the Mighty Titans, as a freshman. THIS WAS THE PERIOD THAT I HAD TO GET REALLY SERIOUS. From 9th through 12th grade, I managed to maintain a 2.97364 GPA (Grade Point Average). While I attended Lake Taylor High School, I joined the NJROTC Club (Naval Junior Reserve Officer Traning Corps), the Lake Taylor High School Marching Band, the Swim Team and the Scholatic Bowl team. While in the Marching Band, that is where I learned how to play the B flat clarinet and the tenor saxophone. By the time I was a senior I became both 1st and 2nd chair clarinet. After I graduated from Lake Taylor High School, I enrolled into ITT Technical Institute. Currently, my major is Multimedia Option & I feel very comfortable in this new "computerized" atmosphere I put myself in. Being here at ITT is outstanding, BUT the work sometimes gets tiring. Despite the work, I REALLY enjoy my classes & the classmates/faculty that instruct, educate & learn here. My classes within the Multimedia field range from 3d animation, moodeling & broadcasting, Web Site designing, planning & development, how to write essays & research papers, studying the history of the first computer introduced to mankind (abacus in Ancient China) and the wide variety of computers we use in the U.S. & around the world today, adapting to the basic & intermediate techniques withing computer programming, studying the scopes & frameworks of buisnesses & economies, learning how to apply basic mathematical skills into the Multimedia world and knowing the fundamentals of working with a team & its' leaders & how to outplay the competition. But, it has been a true blessing to me & my mentality.
