Corey was born on June 27, 1976 in Orlando, Florida. When he was old enough to leave the hospital his parents moved him to Tallahassee, Florida. And for the next several years he moved around between Tallahassee, Miami, and Clewiston Florida. In high school he was an athlete and played football and ran track but his true passion was music so he would spend a lot of time in the chorus room and singing in various groups.
He has been singing since the age of six. Like most artist he started singing in the church choir and writing poetry. That took a minor detour when he was introduced to hip hop in the form of his first rap album by fresh prince and d.j. jazzy jeff called “he’s the rapper and I’m the d.j.”. His real since of music originated from listening to R&B and recognizing its ability to “move” people and listening to hip hop and recognizing it’s ability to blend in with other forms of music. His Favorite artists are Jay-z, bone thugs n harmony, Nelly and R.kelly.
His words and music are intended to inspire the pure essence that many have forgotten about. the basic overall love of music. He is inspired by old school soulful music that is characterized by people’s ability to really relate to it and the trails and tribulations he has had to endure throughout his life.
He is first and foremost, a proud father of a beautiful daughter, who is the center and driving force of his universe. She is the motivation for all that he do and all that he desire.
Corey is also a lover of foods, especially chicken and buffalo wings or anything italian. His favorite color is white but most often you will see him in white and blue. His favorite activities are: singing, writing, dancing and martial arts.
