SINZERO is Latin Hip-Hop's biggest contender: He has already rhymed alongside Presure, G-Rhymes and G-Starr, and his brassy, slogan-strewn flow suggests both a master lyricist and a Latin crunkster. His late 2006 release, which has hovered in the BRONX Top Forty mix-tape spots for several months, doesn't always use reggaeton's dancehall-reggae-style clave rhythm to great effect -- But "La Bienvenida" is certainly the hardest and most complete disc in current latin hip-hop, thanks to the slinky hooks of hits such as "Party Tonight" and "Sentimiento". Start here for an action-packed entree to the genre's rougher pleasures.
