Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.

The Check Riters are a production duo, consisting of Orion "Yung Yonik" Antrobus (born October 18, 1990 in Brooklyn, New York) and Taiquan "Young Retta" Jackson (born June 25, 1990 in Virginia Beach, VA). They came together to form the team in 2005, but they have known each other since third grade. "We both have a passion for music, so we decided to become producers. As a team, we had came up with the name The Check Riters. We wanted to keep it original. We weren't trying to jack anyone for their style." Their production style consists of hard drum patterns, basslines, and melodic guitar riffs. You can recognize their work by the sound of a drumroll at the beginning of the songs they produce. They are currently founding a label, Amazari Records.
