Lyrical
Freestyle dubbed his name “Lyrical,†but he can battle with the pen as well as the mic. Few rappers can match his bawdy ballads and the wisdom in his words; well beyond his years. Born February 22nd, 1988, he would begin rhyming and rapping at the age of 8. “Rap has always been a part of me. My whole life has been rap,†answers Lyrical to those who question his commitment to his profession. His life reflects his lyrics, and he sounds his convictions with passion and nothing less of certainty. His family’s roots run deep in Cuba, but he is as much a native son of America then any. Starting in Jersey, he moved to Miami, where he grew up in the hip hop and rap culture of the city. Residing in Hialeah, his talents have fused hip hop and rap with the Latin influence and flavor of his heritage to give him rank over the competition. From real talk to his aspirations, Lyrical’s very soul becomes the fuel for his music, and he speaks from the heart, an honorable quality that almost got him signed to a major record label. He released his first mixtape “1st Amendment†in 2007, and presently, he is working on his second mixtape alongside other projects. He was also a co-host on an underground station, where he emerged with more than just experience; he put his name on the map with a buzz. The reason for this stir: his music expresses the many traits of his personality, and that is what separates him from the rest of today’s artists. Sharing his sorrows or successes, Lyrical wins more than the attention of the listener; he wins their enthusiasm and admiration. Lyrical is a sleeping giant, wake him, and he’ll become a titan.
