Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.

Hailing from New Jersey and New York, respectively, P-Wize brings back images of the 1990's. As a emcee, P-Wize is eerily reminiscent of early hip-hop greats in voice and style. Being able to conjure images of of hip-hop's great with your voice is definitely a compliment, but P-Wize shows he can hold his own without the comparisons to carry him. While not highly complex or lyrically mind-blowing, P-Wize provides a dope old-school-inspired flow and content that is varied enough not to get repetitive. A good example of what P-Wize has to offer can be found on "Destiny" where he spits: "I got a fetish for ripping mic cords and stage shows I never let go like my nine's my eggo Catch another peso and move out like yayo Looking for a better day so I must lay low I break girls when they want the stick Herb selling now legit, put holes through your click Since you think you the ish, I'ma give you a flush Smoke another black dutch, cuz I don't drink too much" The line about the Eggo was even more proof that P-Wize would have been right at home spitting with the Juice Crew back in the day when the infamous Eggo commercials first came out. Overall, P-Wize does a good job on the mic, with his voice giving him an edge over other up and coming emcees. Wize was born in Brooklyn during the crack epidemic in New york, and was raised with his older brother on St. Marks Ave, in Brooklyn. Wize had a strong mother but she had 2 jobs to try to maintain the household, and his older brother was locked up for 8 years. With that in mind Wize began in doing other things that got him mixed up with a "bad crowd" but he was able to take some of the burden off his mother but had to lie that he was selling cookies from door to door for a fund drive. When Wize's mother first found out Wize was dealing it was a complete shock because Wize had always maintained his image as a respectable young man and thats was because his father was a smooth talking pimp/hustla that never spent to much time with Wize and would always leave him over a different women house to stay while he also ran numbers. So Wize saw the game at a early age, and started writing poems, and was forced to become a man very early, also seeing his mother work on wall street gave Wize a chance to see life from the other side, so if you hear alot of angles in Wize's music its because he has been blessed to see the game from both sides. After a move to Jersey, Wize made a name for his self in hip-hop in East Orange New Jersey, during his young years Wize won alot of street battles and local talent shows to earn a pretty good name for his self among alot of good Mc's in the area some of which are in the industry to this day. After two record deals that fell through due to the fact that nobody knew "how to market " Wize he has only released one album and still holds a name in the streets as a well respected M.C. that can freestyle at "the drop of a hat!". Wize last record was in 2003 when he released a album called"the Final Hour"on Doomzday Entertainment and showcased in Atlanta, Florida, and Ohio. Wize was nominated for best original artist in the underground mixtape awards.and is now working on a solo project with G.L.A. a team of producers,promoters,2 more artist feel free to hit the page up.  Because of all the love going into the votes last week, I wrote this track. Peep my shit and give me your honest opinion. It's got a hard lead and my shit is different. If you still don't like it after getting to the bridge (30 bars deep I think) then let me know what's up. Example: "Yo God, you're shit is wack because..." Send me your link.
