Sean “Sean C” Cane
Levar “LV” Coppin
Grind Music- Biography

Hailing from the one of the hottest cities in the United States, Harlem, New York, Sean “Sean C.” Cane CEO of Grind Music has been making his presence felt amongst entertainment industry heavyweights for over 20 years. Sean C. got his start in the world of hip-hop music as a 13-year old DJ and member of the DJ Group XMEN which eventually turned into the celebrated rap group Xecutioners. As he continued to DJ and be a part of Xecutioners, Sean C.’s love of production flourished and eventually landed him his first industry job as an A&R Coordinator at the legendary Loud Records. His first credited project was working as an A&R producer on Mobb Deep’s, Hell on Earth album. Sean C.’s success continued when he was hired to work on Big Pun’s album Capital Punishment which went on to sell over 2 million copies.

Levar “LV” Coppin is the Co-Owner of Grind Music and popular member of the hip-hop group “Terror Squad.” LV, who also grew up in Harlem, New York, got his professional start as an intern at Loud Records in the 90’s where his creative skills as a DJ landed him one of the most sought after gigs at the time – DJ for legendary rapper Big Pun. When Big Pun passed away in 1999, Fat Joe gladly took LV under his wing as Terror Squad’s resident DJ and in-house producer. He’s now the official Producer and DJ for Fat Joe and Terror Squad.

Sean. C. and LV’s success continued as they went on to produce major hit songs including the classic Jay Z song, “Can’t Knock The Hussle.” More hits followed including contributing singles to multi-platinum and platinum albums including Big Pun’s Capital Punishment, Jay Z’s Reasonable doubt, Fat Joe’s JOSE and Notorius BIG’s Duets final chapter. Sean C. and LV have a knack for creating unique hit-making music. Their current artist Aasim, formely of Loud Records is currently signed to Bad Boy Records. They also continue to be the “go to” in-house producers for P. Diddy and Terror Squad.

Forthcoming in 2007, you can find production by Grind Music on albums by Swizz Beatz, Pharoahe Monch, Dre (Cool & Dre), Clyde Carson ft Wyclef (Capitol Records), Cheri Dennis, Beanie Sigel, Jr. Reid (ft Lil Wayne) and Aasim (Grind Music/Bad Boy) to name a few.
