BIOGRAPHY OF "DREAMS".......... Between the masses of overwhelming independent, “wannabe” well-established rap artist and lustful attractions of the demonic holds we call streets, dreams happen to be fortunate to prevail amongst the rest. Captivating his audience with stories of his past and present it is no wonder he is considered the future. As once upon a time is not the way this story unfolds he is the eponymy of dreams come true. Born Paige “Dreams” Wheatland twenty years ago to Lisa Williams, dreams, as others, experienced typical hardship in life growing up in the poverty sections of New Haven “Elm City”, Connecticut. Discovering that he possessed a known, but rare musical talent, it was inevitable he would focus primarily on becoming the next generation X of artist to be announced. It is said that “what you have been thru, makes you who you are today, thus, Dreams has continued to retain his composure and positive outlook on life as music was his only escape… a way out. Trials and tribulations were set forth the young gunner, but reality became of a rescue… Dreams! After many years of continuously performing for school events, neighborhood rap battles, open-mic, local clubs, friends and family he was eager to move to the next level... Dreams! On Friday September 8, 2006 he received a call from an A&R Rep from Gutta Music Entertainment LLC, an independent record imprint based in New Haven, Connecticut… Dreams! The label was started by former established independent artist from the Elm known as “$eymo Money”. John “Doe-Boy” Haddock was recruiting for a new solo rap act and Dreams longtime friend happen to be auditioning for a solo R&B spot… Dreams! The demo that was presented happened to feature Dreams and the decision was made to bring him in to perform as well… Dreams! Dreams performed a couple of songs, in which he recorded with former group “New Jack City” and was signed two months later to a management deal… Dreams! Now that he has paid his dues, no longer do his presence deem to be transparent… Dreams! With his charismatic characteristics, flagrant swagger, and memorabilia delivery, alongside street credibility and pretty boy image, he has proven to be “Thee American Dream”!!!!… “Dreams of all Americans.”
