Started with Hip Hop in 83, dancing boogie and breaking, dj-ing with the Limon Bro's and Danny K.. Then starting to make loop/ edit mixtapes to practise. And then in 85 started with a Lenco belt-drive turntable learning to scratch and mix. In 86 played in Clubs like Akhnaton, The Box and Paradiso (during a Tla Rock concert). Organised hiphop gigs in Akhnaton, and met the most talented mc's from Holland like Shy Rock and Extince. In 92 i made (by the name DJ Grandmixer MWE) beats for Extince, which were performed in The Muse (NYC). At 91/92 i've made a documentaire bout Hip Hop in Holland, which was part of my graduation of college. The docu. has been used as lesson material for up coming youthworkers at the Amsterdam College. After making some tracks with Cousin Steve, Skate, Ringo, Shy Rock and Allstarfresh, i started to work as a youthworker in Hoofddorp. Started in 96 a theatre-group with Malumba and young mc's and singers, called the YME Theatregroup. Made a beat (on a amiga computer from Danny K) for a national children tv-documentaire, which was nominated for a festival in NYC. Met Gylain Kain (Last Poets) who wanted to work with Extince and Malumba to make a theatre show, which did'nt happen unfortunately. In 2001 i formed with talented, young artists, dj's and producers the Hip Hop coalition: Groove Click. They performed with artists like: Saian Supa Crew, Devious (rip) and New Cool Collective. And i also give DJ-lessons to youngsters as well. DJ Abstract, DJ Nexus and DJ Ice were my best students. Several other members of Groove Click did also win prizes with battles and music contest. Since 2004 i'm also involved in scouting for the Not For Profit (NFP) cd. Which is a project to give young artists in Amsterdam a change to record their own songs in a professional studio. And then to put their songs on a cd, which was played on national radio and tv. NFP cd 2 is out now, and it's hot!! The free mixtape Factor 020 is out and available at www.notforprofit.nu. A NFP 2 showcase did take place in Paradiso, Amsterdam and Den Bosch. I'm now working with: SEAN BLACK, Rewind, Wyld Bunch, Bill Biggz, Milo in de Dance, Glock George, Kallie Weed, Tunnel Visionaries, Quest the Wordsmith, Bad Newz, EMS, SYCE, Drew Reid, Mayhem, El Rey, MC Regga, Bad Brya and RNS. 2008 will hopefully be a productive year!!
