Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.

Absyte aka Absolute Nsyte born Camille Maria Jones is a southside of Chicago Native, who has loved entertainment and been involved in different elements of entertainment since she was about 4 years old. Absyte grew up in Chicago with her mother and grandmother who often would make her the highlight at family gatherings and church functions. From singing Michael Jackson's "Off-the-Wall" to break dancing the latest hip hop break beats, Ab has always seen the light and path to entertainment. Hip Hop was a love that was born for Absyte as a fan of the game. Hip Hop was the right mix of the music she loved and the poetry she would often write. At an early age she remembers writing stories of a drug and bug infested basement which she slept in with her infant sister as her mother drained her life away in a crack pipe. It is sometime a mystery to many including Ab how her life did not turn down the same dark path as her mothers. As the artist tells it that dark path is right around the corner every day she lives on this earth. "Everyday I wake up I thank God for all I have and what I didn't do wrong today...At the end of my day I thank God for all that could have happen that did happen for the good and for all those things that didn't happen for the bad that spared my life another day. Absolute Swagga is a mix of the daily struggle she speaks of. Worrying is not good but according to the artist there's sometimes no way to avoid it. And if you thought there was going to be a positive "happy ever after ending" to that statement ..think again....according to the artist in her life that is the game of life we are pitched everyday....we take the good with the bad and hope we don't strike out. Absolute Swagga is a mixtape produced as many mixtapes are with a mix of original hip hop tracks and a mix of well-known industry tracks. This fusion is accompanied by a deep threads mix of battle rymes wrapped with a mix of socially-conscience lyrics that again show that delicate balance of life as Absyte knows it. Original tracks were produced by some of the best producers in Chicago, Meesak (Kaseem Harris), Tray From Block 1, E-Jilla, Bobcat and many more. Industry tracks were from classic artists from Biggie to De-La-Soul...Maceo if your out there Ab says "get at your gurl" your tracks are blazin and of course Absyte works with nothing but the best...Her future aspirations would be to be able to make a true living from what she loves to 1st afford her daughter an un-marred or as close as she can provide childhood...all the best in life for her daughter Jolie to succeed no matter what she chooses in life. Her daughter is number 1 and nothing (including the music) will deter her from the goal of making her daughters life the very best it can be. Industry-wise Absyte has aspirations of working only with the best Pharrell, Neptunes, Kanye West, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis....yes we said Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis....Ab's take on it is they are the pentical of what the best in this music industry is "They make huge stars into colossal stars...and that is what the best gives ....the best....PERIOD". http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=1069465493

my votes are in! swing thru!

So I lost rounds 1 and 2 eh (NEW)

Round 1 I dropped "Got Wheaties" to make a statement. Basically saying that everyone should put there A in. A Game that is because this would be competitive so I fed everybody with breakfast for the Champions. And in it I created a scene where we were robbing Rifkin. Why? Because at .99 cents a pop it aint pocket picking. Hold on, I only said the rhyme because it sounded tight. I aint accusing SRC of being thieves--they're paying right. Anyway for Round 2 I lit that ass a "Firecracker" popping up religious subliminals just beyond the Manger. Even said de-oxidize to have my vocab optimized. Bet you'll still be thinking how I'm so good when the volume dies. Even today you can see the "Firecracker" particles on loud.com's December 6th NEW and EVENTS article.

So I lost rounds 3 and 4 eh (NEW)

As for Round 3, I put out "Mars: The Dust". The lyrics from that song were nothing short of ultra marvelous. It even has one of the best lines I ever told. It goes: "English molecules are preferred to break martian code". A nice ass off the wall sci-fi track. You hijack a Nasa Blackhawk--better know how to ride that! And I was posting "Operation: Red Planet" on every single comment saying we needed troops...but got damnit. It was like I had failed to convert a fourth down. Ironically, look what I submitted for the 4th Round. "UT 39--USC 38" Even had a youtube video where you could see the play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8zZRBTOcnY). N-C double A could eat this up, see this as a thesis of using rap to expand the fans of the teams we love! And bottom line I was just bringing some original. But instant replay, let's review why Loud didn't find it pivotal. Wellll you better not be thinking that rapping about killing aliens is something niggas really can relate to. AAANNND if you think you can spit Gatorade over football raps talking all motto about how that shit "is in you"....

6 7 8 and 9 are Mysteries (NEW)

If I win Round 6 it was probably because I escaped hell. That was one of the most creative concepts Loud ever saw-to-date there. Then again if I were to lose, I got disqualified cause I broke the rules. I took sorry old BATTLE RAP 11 and actually put that beat to good use. Round 7 comes around so I put out "Sherlock X" had to f*cking be the best track that I ever wrecked. But see spot number 7 still aint guaranteed cause my vote count was low. IT JUST HAD TO BE THANKSGIVING WEEK! Round 8 I dropped two versions of "Con Test III". On one of those tracks I wanted you to vote whack just to see if y'all were listening---most niggas were not! And if that's a round that I lose it's cause I broke the rules. I had took BATTLE RAP 15 and put that beat to good use! And for Round 9..."5 + 4", "Hurricane Ado", "Dream Chaser"....will I win one? I have no f*cking clue.

Round 10 Begins End (NEW)

It's come to an end. Farewell for Round 10. Get your last votes in, thank you all for listening. It's been hella fun creating all these amazing tracks for a 100 thousand cash and recording contract. But at the same time a whole lot of this felt like a struggle. Cuz loud.com IS AND WAS MY ONLY HUSTLE!  And I ain't got a damn clue of where I'm goin next. Hanging up the microphone actually might be the best. Hey but let me change the subject: I'm running out of time. I got four new tracks to record before the deadline. And though it may not seem like this-- I'm squeezing my brain to get these last rhymes out. Please don't refrain. Believe it or not I'm teaching the game. All you got to do is check my headline, you can read it in plain. Loud, who's that creative genius? You know his name. It goes Double to the what Method. Who's the one that keeps pushing boundaries and challenging the whole game? Double to the what Method. Come outside and rap....

Suicide Save (**Bonus)

Philosophical residents, here’s an issue we must address: What the hell we gonna do with ourselves if we never get selected as a finalist? Would you think that you came up plenty short? Judgement Day: November 24th. Some would say it could mean the world and represents everything that they’re breathing for. Yo…Suicide--Is no joke--I won’t lie--I’d come close--Past few months--Just had me--So brainwashed--To get votes. Escape from the Zombie I had become. Ungodly Drowning in Rum, Bacardi, Coke to get numb. You got me…Nonchalantly we must live on. Grab ya car keys–go get gone, drive til ya calm, read some Psalms. Do whatever the f*ck you gotta do to stay strong. I made this rap but you can tell there’ll be no plans to use this self help. Cuz I bring a BUZZ like an american pale ale plus SRC Knows I’ll sell.

JUS‘ VOTED..100, NO GHOSTS, GET BACK AT ME

As we approach the last semifinalist round of this contest, I just want to thank God for allowing me to use my talent to express myself through music. Without him blessing me with the gift, the strength, the passion, the air in my lungs to breathe on the microphone…I wouldn’t be anything. My dedication for music has always been in my heart. My determination for winning, has gotten stronger each week. Although I have yet to win a round, I remain very humble and respectful to the other emcees and their talents. We’re all competing for the same thing and everybody can’t win. Since joining the site, and to this day, I’ve been through more than enough. Losing loved ones, friends, not being able to see my daughter like I want to. All this and more has made me a stronger person and I continue to P.U.S.H (Pray Until Something Happens). Even without the acronym, I will continue to push whether I win or not. If I do win, I will let all of my friends, family, and fans know…the only thing that will change about me, is the numbers in my bank account. I’m thankful for every vote that I get and I appreciate all the love and support. My ambition will not allow to stop grinding and just throw in the towel. At the end of the day, I just wanna be able to give people something worth listening to. Once again, I’d like to thank all who voted & showed love and support. God bless. -SLAP K.
