Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.

Darell Lamar White-Johnson Jr., born and raised out of Columbus, Ohio, is already reaching levels of success attained by no other in his peer group, thus far. Darell is clearly a young entertainer born to make history. At the tender age of 3, Darell began to show his interest in the arts. A collection of home-video footage prove that fact by catching moments of the toddler taking up a passion for music and entertainment at this very young age. Having a father in the music production field allowed Darell the opportunity to step inside the recording booth for fun when he was only 3 years old. Once Dad realized his son’s potential, he began to write a selection of kid-friendly and socially-conscious songs for his son to record. With that project completed, Darell has already made his mark on the new wave of music and hip-hop with a 47-minute DVD Album (Born Ready 2005). This DVD album takes you on a personal tour of several music videos and intimate interviews, all performed by this pint-size artist. Darell has over 20 songs recorded at an age when he would normally still be learning fundamentals in music class. His current project shows the growth he encompasses after only two years. Darell is currently building his resume by auditioning for roles in upcoming film and television projects. Darell can be seen in the film Lord Help Us, along side of accomplished actors like Joe Clair, Johnny Brown, Debra Wilson, and Margaret Avery. His positive lyrical content and expressive delivery sets him aside from the large amount of youth striving to be a part of pop-culture. To date, one of the most creative songs he has recorded is his hip-hop version of the alphabet. This song actually takes the alphabet and revitalizes it to be a hip-hop learning anthem that makes even his teenaged fans feel like elementary students again. The Youngzta is definitely what the industry would call a triple-threat. Over the last two years Darell has also taken up writing and composing his own songs. He’s a young professional on the move and definitely knows what the industry needs and where he fits in. He is one to watch.
