OVERDOSE or O.D. is a native of Southern California's Inland Empire or I.E as the locals put it. He started Rapping back in High School. At the time he was influenced by mostly Westcoast rappers like; 2Pac, Snoop,The Dogg Pound and DJ Quik, so if you get a chance to hear his older tracks you probably won't even recognize him. After High School and blowing a full ride basketball scholarship,he walked into a local studio and once he got a taste of that he was hooked, this was his calling. Started listing to the underground lyrical Rappers like Talib, Mos Def, Pheroh Monch, Chino XL, Canibus, Eminem and so on.Early in OD's career he was plagued by constant run in's with the law,alcohol,and drug abuse, and in 2001 he almost lost his life ironically...to an OVERDOSE!!!This was OD's turning point, not that it happened overnight, everything takes time...but this was the start. In 2002 OD's first of three boys was born,Vincent, named after the artist Vincent Van Gogh.The following year he married his Beautiful Wife Sara who grew up in New York City. OD credits his wife, along with his homey's from the South, RUBO AND BAY BOY, of changing his style from a typical West Coast Rapper into a bi-coastal MONSTER!!!Over 11yrs OD has worked with many producers, including The Avilla Brothers, G of DNA, Cutlass, Tre of Can-I- Ball records( Nick Cannons Label), 00 Negro of Nappy head records,and currently working on his debut album with BK's Up and coming Super Producer Tommie SOX!!O.D. has learned the art of making a hit, has had lots of stage time in the WEST COAST Hip Hop scene, has won many Battles and with thousands of copies of his mixtape "The Fix" sold out the trunk and over the internet, OD is ready for the big time!!!With an Industry sound and influenced by everything under the sun. West, East,North and South alike....OPERATION GET A DEAL IS IN EFFECT!!!!!!
