Hailling out of Fort Lauderdale Fl, King is truly a product of his environment. At a first glance, with it's beautiful beaches and decadent lifestyle, this city can be misunderstood much like King himself. Laid back, calm and easy is his style of flow. But can turn on a dime and get in that ass. While the majority of southern rappers aren't given the respect of being called real hip hop, King is hoping to lift the standards while simultaneously changing the game. Growing up, King was influenced by artist such as Kool G Rap, Eric B. Rakim, Big L, Fat Joe and the hole Diggin in the Crates Crew. And later on the usual suspects, (Biggy, 2Pac, Scarface, Nas, Jayz and so on). With a diverse flow and a keen since of who he is, King vigoruosly works to bring to his listening audience a first hand look at reality as he knows it. Although he may sound pompous and flashy in one instant, then hood and griming the next, such is life in South Florida.
