I was born Dominique Chambers to 2 very proud parents from Louisville Mississippi. From childhood I was always into music like beats and the aspect of making drum patterns. By listening to 2pac since birth I always had him as an influence in music. As a child me and his cousin used to beatbox to see who's better. Louisville was a small town but soon that all changed!! When I turned 11 years old me, my older sister and our parents moved to the big city, that's right Detroit Michigan!! Here is where it all started, by now I had the inspiration to make beats and lay them down. When I first got my computer I started researching different ways to makes beats and the different equipment that producers used. To me it was all a chess move, I calculated every step that I took. I first started using a program called FL Studio. After failing with this program a couple of times, I became discouraged!! I gave up for a second then one day I went back at it and started to use another program called Acid Pro and that is where I made my first real beat called "Paid My Dues"!! By this time I was somewhat confused on my alter ego. For awhile I was known as DJ FITZ. But I killed off that persona on a mixtape cause I wasn't a real DJ so I ended that persona and another reason was that there was something in the back of my mind was callin!! It was like something waking up inside me and so that was the birth of KIDD KAPOE!! KAPOE is the side of me that doesn't really give a fuck u know!!!! And from that it's HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!!!
