Luis and Hugo Diaz are brothers who form the Diaz Brothers music production team based out of Miami, Florida. Although they often confused with the Tony Touch's Diaz Brothers they are Not rappers they are PRODUCERS. Even though they are not limited to one type of music, their primary focus is on Hip-Hop, and are most famous for bringing the Latino rapper Pitbull to fame. They began their careers when Luis took to producing Miami Bass and Freestyle records in the late 80's, which remain somewhat obscure today. Years later Luis became one of the most reputable engineers at Circle House Studios, earning jobs mixing and recording everybody from The Baha Men to P Diddy to 50 Cent to Juvenile to Beenie Man to Trick Daddy to Lil Scrappy to Beyonce to Toni Braxton to Mary J Blige to Lauryn Hill just to name a few. As a result of his reputation as engineer, The Diaz Brothers scored remix jobs for several major artists, including The Rolling Stones and Wyclef Jean. When one of their remixes done for Clef (Sony Discos - In the Zone) became a hit, they took the opportunity to ask Clef for advice on their careers. Clef gave one important nugget of info: "find one hot new artist and invest yourselves into that." Hence "PITBULL"
They kept their eyes peeled for someone who'd fit the bill, Luis met a very charismatic young man during a mixing session for Luke Records. Thinking this kid was an intern at the studio led to a bosterious conversation with the young man, who admitted that the track Luis was mixing was his, Pitbull's !!! Shocked at not only the quality of the rapper, but the charisma of the man he was speaking with, Luis extended the offer that if the rapper was ever freed from his contract at Luke Records, he should give the Diaz Brothers a call. Surprisingly, a few months later, Pitbull did call, and their unification immediately rocketed both the rapper and the production crew to worldwide fame.
The Diaz Brothers have now found that new artist to follow on the heels of the success of Pitbull, his name "CASELY" they are currently in the lab producing songs for Casely's album. The first single "Emotional" has already climbed up the charts at WPOW Power 96 in Miami. In addition to signing the future of Miami's R7B scene they have also signed Dj Laz and are working on his new album as well!!! They've also produced tracks for Dj Khaled, Daddy Yankee, Lloyd Banks, Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz, Trick Daddy, Trina, Brisco, Garcia and the 2 Fast 2 Furious Sountrack.

I know this is a competition, but i dont look at it that way. Yea we are all in this to win $100,000 and a record deal. That is the truth. But this being my 2nd time in a semifinalist position, I have a humble outlook this time around. Whether i win or not, I am going to keep it real and reach back to the WORLD, and just like LOUD is a community, the WORLD IS ONE BIG COMMUNITY. And i wanted to make it known to everybody the type of nigga I really am. God-willing that my name is in the top 3 and get a check, I am NOT going to act "BIGGER THAN YOU" I am going to be the same person I am, just in a free financial environment that I've never had b4. Real talk. Basically, I am saying that I'm not going to portray selfishness because the reason i really do this music is 4 you. Ya feel wat im saying. And every business that caters to the consumer is successful. For example, if you need work done to your car, and Im the mechanic, I am going to make sure that I fix your car until the engine light goes off, Great service=repeat business. In my case, I am the rapper/lyricist with the mouthpiece and I am going to satisfy your ears always because you will continue to listen. Now, i felt so strongly about making this promise to every1 on LOUD and around the world that I couldnt put it all into words as you can see & wanted to make a song about it, why not on LOUD? The crazy thing is, i had to fit my whole heart & promise into ONE minute. And this is how it came out. So this is really the reallest track i've put on loud in my personal opinion and I hope that you understand and believe that each and every individual is influential to where i am right now in some way, form or fashion. And I Thank you . . . now with that said, check out the new track "MY PROMISE" on Reefa production ((go figure, i was blazed when i wrote it)) and feel free to let me know wat you think. 1 LOVE
