New York, NY (July 22, 2008) – Ferociously dope and always noteworthy, Brooklyn’s Skyzoo joins us for the first installment of Loud Favorites. It’s a new series where we seek out our favorite artists and have them spit a few of their favorite verses and talk about them afterwards.
In the first segment, Sky gives us a clue about what he’s been into:
…It might seem I’m a little quieter than I normally am on the web right now, but that’s cuz I’m in the studio. I’m working on “Urban American Idol: The Best of Skyzoo,” which is gonna be crazy… after that, I’m dropping my all-new mixtape, “The Power of Words” in October. The title speaks for itself. And lastly, my official debut called “Salvation” is due in December or January. The mixtapes are me just blackin out, but the album is all the soul-searching, deep stories, the things that create classics.
Skyzoo also talks potential distribution and taking meetings. The production lineup for “Salvation” includes: Needlz, Hi-Tek, Pete Rock, Chuck English, DJ Don Cannon, 9th wonder, Ill Mind, Nottz and more…
