G Music is the musical collaboration of Miami producers Javier Gamboa and Jaime Gutierrez, more commonly known as Gamboa and Ace. Individually, they are talented musicians who have been creating music since childhood, combined, they are a force to be reckoned with. Their unique sound is fresh and exciting, which is no surprise considering their eclectic backgrounds. Gamboa, the son of an international band conductor and pianist, was heavily influenced by his father's jazz and latin music. His innate musical ability was strengthened when he began playing the piano at age 9, and later, playing the trumpet and baritone in his high school marching band. At the tender age of 2, Ace's father began taking him to parties thrown by his family and friends where he was exposed to the rhythmic, exotic sounds of Colombian music. Growing up, his passion for music developed into an impressive knowledge of musical history encompassing several different genres. He went on to graduate Full Sail and work in studios all over Miami. In 2005, their paths crossed and they instantly recognized a shared musical vision. The future remains untold for this dynamic duo but from the sounds of things, these Miami boys are well equipped to take over the radio airwaves in no time.
