Ok..Ok.. Im not into gangsta rap. bUt you got some skills. Nothing extraordinary, but I think you'll do well in this type of song-a-thon tournament thing. I cant call it a battle cuz its not, but whatever you wanna call it, your what theyre looking for and you shoudl do well. Id guess you been rhymin about 4 years. Any of you foolds that have been rhyming for less then that shouldnt put yourselves out there. I was in Mensa and I have a 150 IQ and I was writing sick multi0-syll rhymeschemes with punchlines, wordplay, metaphors and topics since like my 3rd or 4th rhyme, but looking back I am so glad I didnt try to put myself out there.Mt shit back then was great, but I look back an think I was wack. It takes at least 4 years of work to be an emcee. Now that doesnt mean if u put in 4 years youll be an emcee, just means u need at least 4 years or so if you are already intelligent, creative and talented. Theres so much more to this artform that people dont understand and I think your on teh right track for the style you have and the elife experience you write about. So all in all its good. Keep it up. Ive been rhyming for 14 years or so now so theres alot fo stuff yall dont realize exists. Aspects that people dont pick up on untill youve been doing it right and around the right poeple. I dont listen to teh radio, so im not influenced by whats out there so my style and teh boundaries I push are way beyond whats out there. The stuff I put on here in my shit from last season is old as hell and stuff I dont care of people bite. But the new shit im on is so far out there as far as complexity, it wont even be felyt for years.
I battled wordsworth and punchline at the lyracist lounge tour years back in Boston out on Landsdow St. and punchline told me my punches were too complex and I used to be told multi sylls werent a requirement back before eminem came out. I used ti listen to alot of Big-L and Pun. But lo and behold, my shit from 10 years ago is whats being considered a requirement nowadays. hmmm.. so if I had listened to everyone else Id be wack and just catching on .

COME/GO.......CLOSE/DISTANCE...so this is teh difefrence between punchlines and wordplay..Peopel dont seem to understand this and all metaphor, simlieis, punchlines all seem to get grouped togethjer by the beginners that dont understand teh difference. Most peopel dont even catch teh depth of it all , they jsut hear ..te 1st level. A good punchline should be like an opnion, peeling back teh layers, thats what makes a rhyme sick. I write teh type of shit people will listen to oevr and over and pick up new things everytime. Thats what a true emcee does.

So to drop the complexity without sacraficing content and incorporating both wordplay on many levels, topic and a punchline all in 1 bar and swsetting up the next bar and atarting teh next bar off teh same words.. this is the stuff people dont get..
If you arent ill, you will never recognize illness to its fullest. this is why things liek this dont work, because you have people without skill or experience judging shymes when they dont even understand how hard something is to do. This is more like a crowd voted battle where someone dcan say soemthing wack as hell , but if tehy say it with the right voice inflection, or throw in one phrase thats relavent they can totallysway teh crowd. I can do both, when i battlke on stage I incorporate both and I dumb it down for the crowd full of npn artsists, but in a contest like this, its strictly about politics and fitting into teh predetermined image of what Steve wants to trhow his money at and the path he wants to take teh label. Like Eminem. he knows what make s an ill emcee, but he signeds fools liek 50 cent and Obi trice, cuz they are commercial friendly stars. People dont want artists in major labels, they want people who are stars. IUts a babeing boy band. And any one of these winners wouldnnt last a second on ashow liek teh old sway ,king tech morning show . And mnost ofthemn wouldnt even write tehir own shit anymore, theyd have ghostwriters to keep up with the schedulle. Buying soundscans to make top 40 is all that makes a rap star and image, so this is why Im not part of thsi crap. So thsi is just my litte thread to stop getting all these herbs to quit bothering me for votes.
