I'm riding in the car right now checking out the site right now and wondering to myself why I'm entering this contest. Why I've been on Loud since February 2007 when hardly no one was on the site. Why all these months I've been writing rhymes, submitting entries, posting bulletins, soliciting votes. And for what? Never won a round. Never been a finalist. Met a lotta people. Got my music heard from people I otherwise wouldn't. So I've just wondered why am I doing it? Why do any of us do it? For the money, the recognition?
And its even harder for me because I'm a female rapper. The market for female rappers right now is bleak, granted there really aren't too many out right now. Given that I keep asking myself why am I on loud? Outside of this site, why do I write rhymes, go to the studio, and continue to rap?
I guess you could say it is for the love of it. It is for the respect I get from other MC's when they hear me. Will I get heard on a national/international level one day? Outlook not so good. I've said a few times that I wouldn't come back to Loud. That I was wasting my time. I wasn't gonna even enter Contest 2. But here I am. My competitive nature and love for hip hop just won't allow me to stay away.
So I ask you, why are you on Loud.com?

I used to be here for the contest, now Im just here for promotion of my music projects!!! Honestly the contest is a bunch of shit, the site however has its advantages!!! I feel they just using mafukas for they song concepts and ideas, so Im usin their site to get my promo and recognition!!! I feel thats the biggest benefit if any of this site so I would stress to any and erybody on here todothe same, the contest aint gonna do nuthin but drive u crazy!!!
So if u want SRC to strip u of sum of ur hard work and talent post it in the contest lmao this just my opinion, and I dont believe in coincedences so Ive seen and heard alotta strippin goin on on this site!!! Industry rule # 4080 Record Company people are shady...
