Conspiracy Productions is an independent production company specializing in real hip hop and raw talent. Conspiracy Productions was founded in 1997 by artist, producer, audio engineer and DJ, DJ Cloak. DJ Cloak began as an artist and song writer. After interning at D&D Studios and Gallco Entertainment as an assistant engineer/administrative assistant, DJ Cloak finally decided to build a home studio in Brooklyn. After working with several different local artists, he continued his education by receiving a B.A. in Creative Writing from Binghamton University. At Binghamton University, DJ Cloak took additional classes in MIDI and Music and Computers to further advance his skills. It was at the university that he made the transition from artist, writer, producer and audio engineer to DJ by playing parties and hosting a show on campus radio WHRW 90.5FM. Currently, he is getting a Masters Certificate in Music Business and Technology from Berkleemusic.com. DJ Cloak has worked with and opened up for artists such as Ludacris, DJ Enuff, DJ Envy, DJ Precise, DJ Kast One, Dead Prez, Immortal Technique, Welfare Poets, Toni Blackman, Def Jam and Nuyorican Poets Anthony Morales and La Bruja. New York Times writer Bob Herbert wrote "Cloak is a fine writer". Look out for the independent solo debut album by DJ CLOAK entitled, "RETRIBUTION", in the near future.
