Chopped Opera is a producer/rhymer from Bridgewater Nova Scotia. He has been writin' rhymes for 9 or 10 years and has been makin' beats for about 6. Opera is part of a hip hop group known as Tranz-Ill which released two full length albums and stacks of basement tapes. After movin' to Halifax NS, Chopped Opera performed with a few local cats and opened up for Jedi Mind Tricks. Opera has currently finished his debut solo album simply titled "Chopped Opera", due to be released in late October or mid November. He also produced most of his partner in rhyme, Zombie Snugg's solo album. Chopped Opera currently resides in Fredericton NB where he is studyin' at Saint Thomas University.
