Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.
What up? The name is Bum-G Supreme I grew up in Carson (Del Amo), CA. I have 3 older brothers that were heavily into Hip Hop since it started. I grew up listening to: Kool Keith, Rakim, G Rap, LL when he kicked dope lyrics, KRS1, Big Daddy Kane, Run DMC, Gangstarr, EPMD, Organized Konfusion, Ultramagnetics the list goes on and on thats just my younger days. I am a True Hip Hop fan and Artist. I grew up in the Bigga B era (RIP) when Hip Hop was a true art and life style not a fad. Bigga B was a great friend of the family and asset to Hip Hop when the Wu 1st kicked the door down. He booked shows for my group at the time "The Solar Panel" and help push our movement. I've been producing music since literally the sixth grade. I have my own home recording studio and I produce tracks everyday as many as I can sometimes I get on a roll and make like 6 dope tracks in one day. God has truly blessed me with the oppurtunity to make music anytime I feel like it and the talent and creattivity to succeed. My brother taught me how to use his MPC60/3000 and SP12 blue shit LOL. I lost a ton of tracks on that shit. Then we upgraded to the SP1200 and to this date I still produce music on my own MPC60/3000 and SP1200 along with additional equipment such as the Phantom X8, Motif 8, Reason, Pro Tools and dope records like Grover Washington, Bob James, Led Zepplin, Quincy Jones to name a few. I have continued to upgrade my production style. All my tracks are original and have a distinct sound of there own. DJ Khalil of Self Scientific has been my production mentor since 1993. My goal/role in Hip Hop is to make music that has an underground feel with mainstream appeal and bring back the creativity and conciousness to Hip Hop. As far as my MC skills you'll have to wait to here it. |
