Boy Foolish grew up in the heart of Miami Dade County (Liberty City) in an urban community that they called “75”. He was raised in a four bedroom project apartment with two little sisters, one older sister and three older brothers and of course the best lady in his life his mom Girtha Nicholas. He is the baby boy of nine children yes nine. He was blessed to have both of his parents in his life unlike most of his peers but unfortunately they were separated. At age twelve he relocated with his father Alexander Veasy Jr. and Grandmother Doris Irvin on fifty second street and seventh ave where he became best of friends with his partner in crime and CEO of their up and coming independent record label “Greedy Boy ENT” Roberto Bodden bka “Rob Hound”. That was between ’96-’97 and since before that he had a passion for the art of rap/hip-hop music. His inspiration was the death of real close relatives like his father, little cousin and one of his older brothers. The death of his little cousin who was shot and killed made him leave the streets alone and turn to music as a way to express his feelings that were held in for a very long time. “The Mayor Of Miami” Trick Daddy Dollar and JT Money gave him more understanding of the meaning of the “Streets Of Dade County” and the way it really is or was cause the generation he came up in is just repeating time. Now as he wondered the Rap world DMX, LL Cool J, Snoop Dog, 2Pac, and Biggie gave him more meaning to a diverse artist. Foolish is defined as someone who is silly or unwise, well he was always a clown and there are very few things that he is unwise about, but a person who thinks they know everything doesn’t really know a thing you dig……… Boy Foolish is the hip-hop artist that prides himself in the “Old South” style of music. His mission as an artist is to set himself apart from the cliché of self indulgenced artist who speak only to the Haves. His aim is to give a voice to the Have-Nots because he was and still is in that category until his major break through. Most of his words and lyrics come from unparallel experiences of growing up in the urban sprawl known as Liberty City. As of May of Two-Thousand Seven of our lord, Boy Foolish was putting the final touches on his first Demo EP. This EP covers all aspects of urban life including party tracs, a track about conflicts, hustling to get were he’s trying to go and climaxing with the pains of loved ones he lost which he explained earlier and overcoming personal demons. This EP is so diverse because it attempts to show the flexibilities of a great lyricist, who’s main strength is to transform words into illustrations; to not only tell someone a story, but put that listener into a story. Along with himself, He is attempting to establish prestige for his group “Greedy Boys”, a four man influx of raw, unadulterated talent. “Trac Rechaz” are more than just a studio group, but have endured joys and pains together as brothers from other mothers since the mid Nineteen-nineties. The brains, brawns, skill and heart of this family are T-man, Trappa, Fye and of course that Boy Foolish The Miami Connect. He plans on carrying his team in almost the same fashion that Fifty Cent carried G-Unit or Jay-Z carried the ROC, by cracking open the door and having his crew bust through and knock the hinges right off. While most up and coming artist sell themselves dreams of unrealistic goals, Boy Foolish is a realist. He don’t see himself as a wanna-be, but as a will-be, needing only the opportunity and guidance of a great producer and promoter; someone who can harness his raw, God-given talent into a force that can propel his words into that next great chapter of music history.
