BEICO, at the age of 12 realized he enjoyed music. He would sit for hours just listening to Micheal Jackson’s Thriller Album, practicing all his moves. As time went on, BEICO got older and by age of 14 he was once again introduced to another style of music called Hip Hop. While sitting in his upstairs room, he heard numerous rappers that inspired him like, EPMD, KRS-ONE and DJ SCOTT LA ROC, CURTIS BLOW, and the list goes on and on. In school, BEICO often participated in many talent shows where you would catch him imitating several of the hottest Rap artist out. Time went on and he was struck by another group of artist, local rap group “NAUGHTY BY NATURE”! BEICO knew he found his calling. Going to all the video shoots and trying to get noticed, he finally got his first chance in 1995 when he made debut appearing in their “Chain Remains” video. That was just the beginning for BEICO,he started appearing in many other videos after that, videos like "HipHop Hooray”, “Clap Ya Hands” , “Hang Out & Hustle”, and the list goes on and on. This was just the beginning for him, going on tours as well as doing shows with NAUGHTY really excitedBEICO. But it wasn’t until a year later when the real excitement came. That’s when he found a new home with the “GUTTER RATZ”, group of local childhood friends who came together to form this dynamic rap group. They signed to Quest Records and had a hit single on the “SPRUNG” soundtrack called “LET’S GET IT STARTED”. But due to circumstances beyond their control, the rap group didn’t make it very far. BEICO on the other hand didn’t give up. He always knew that he had something to say and he knew it could be heard through his music.BEICO has made several of his own hits, hits like “ESSEX COUNTY”, “PATIENTLY WAITING”, “RYDER MUSIC”, and “PUNISH ME”. These are just a few of what is yet to come.
