Born April 19, 1987 in Orlando, Florida, Michael "White Mic" Dubey emerged from the suburbs of Deltona, Florida. White Mic has a ton of talent and a lot of background to show for it. His type of rap relates to those of Jay-Z, Eminem, and The Diplomats. His rhymes relate to the more lyrically inclined hip hop fans, while showing a rough hardcore emotion that very few can emulate. "The fact that I can express my emotions, and maybe have someone be able to relate..That does it all for me. Music itself is the soundtrack to my life. Poetry in motion. I communicate through music," says Dubey, who is 19 years old. Once a poet himself, White Mic's lines have gone anywhere from confident and smooth to angry and bonerattling like a straight shot of tequila. The beats in all of his songs are fresh and all distinctly different. With influences from Nas, Juelz Santana, and Pharrell Williams to rock bands such as Thrice and Story of the Year, White Mic is not afraid to experiment with unique beats that could end up skyrocketing him to the top of the charts.
