Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.

Savannah, Ga. A city where death is almost certain and life is far from guaranteed. A place where guns outnumber books, where drugs flow as if they are legal and where local gangs and projects thrive as an end result. A place known to be haunted by the dead souls of slaves. To survive, one must have strength, intelligence and be a General amongst soldiers. It was in this very dark environment that an artist of unprecedented caliber was forged....introducing...Skripture aka Lil' Savannah (aka God's Gift to Rap). It became evident at a very young age that Skripture was destined to become such an artist. At the age of 7, he began writing poetry about various circumstances in which he was engulfed. He has always had a natural swagger when it comes to writing. Skripture embraced his gift as if it was his only light in an otherwise dark and dreary Hell. One could often catch him writing or even freestyling on Savannah corners with his "friends", most notably the late fallen Camoflauge (R.I.P.). Skripture and Camoflauge always knew that their gifts would help them to escape their poverty-stricken roots and often joked about who would make it first. Camoflauge would win that battle, only to lose his life to the very streets that they were trying to escape. Since then, Skripture has made a vow that he would never allow Camoflauge (Jason Johnson) to be forgotten and would finish what his brother in arms had started. As the years passed, life got harder, dealing with homelessness and struggling to help hold down a fatherless family with his 2 sisters and 1 older brother, Skripture found himself hustling and exploring different ways of generating income. Through his teenage years, Skripture participated in a slew of local talent shows and innumberable showcases (winning most of them). Influenced by a wide array of artists and genres, Skripture has become an artist like you have never seen or heard. He has opened for Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz, Ludacris, Too short, Camoflage, and many others. Having performed in The Atrium, South Beach, Queen City, The Royal Peacock (just to name a handful in Atlanta), and various other venues all over the south, he destroys every stage he steps foot on. Not just content with putting Savannah on HipHop's radar, Skripture has set higher goals for himself..."When I leave rap, I will be the BEST that has ever spit a rhyme....ain't nobody stopping me." Well, real recognize real, and Skripture is looking real familiar. As the primary(and sole) artist, and CEO of 4 Alarm Entertainment, Inc., he is poised to be just that. Stay tuned.
