Treat the devil inside like a man who found your weak point in a fist fight. If you can't beat him with your Famous Right Hook, then sneak him with a left. If he got you on crack or dope, even woman/men, strengthen yourself in another area something easier. Then when you get stronger on your left side where that left hook is coming, it will hit the devil inside so hard he'll cringe then you can hit him with your right jab. After that keep hitting!
Seek assistance through patience and prayer. Each time you sin, pray immidiatly! Don't wait and let the guilt stop you from communication your sincerity to the Father, then you will shock the devil on the inside, he can't hold on when you do that. It will be like he gave you a punch but you had vasline on your face, the punch will slip past and not affect you as much. Then after a while with enough confidence from all that praying and winning, he'll hit you and you will not feel it. The result will be that you will not sin as much or not at all eventualy. You will gain the level of purity!
