What's good family? I'm Johnny Stone a.k.a Product the 'Vet', been creatin' music in the dungeons for years. I'm really a producer at heart but I have rapped on indie albums for up and coming rappers in the Bay Area and Sacramento. Grew up down the street from Traxamillion(Sutan), my lil' bro' used to make beats and rap with him in high school, I still remember hearing E-40's banger that's now a Bay anthem..years ago, I thought this young cat has some talent. He went on and I just kept makin' beats and raps that just stayed locked in my computers.hmm.. Why this name? An up and coming rapper/producer by the name of KNEEL gave it to me and it stuck. He said I pump out so many bangers sometin' like 2-3 a day, he called my studio a factory thus stemmed my name "Product" In the past I kept my rap music to myself and with a core set of listeners I respect for advice in order to develop a style I felt comfortable with. I'm no gangster, thug or anything like that, not to say I've haven't had my share of gangster sh.. Growin' up in San Jose and travelin' to visit family in Compton you can't help but get caught up a lil' But I've learned that life is not for me... I try to treat everyone with respect but have low tolerance if not reciprocated. I feel I do have a good heart tho' Would you sign a record contract with a major label? Foe Sho, why not? I could go idie but if someone wants to put me on, I'm ready! I put in work since I was 9 I'm 30 now so I'm not a rookie and my clock is ticking. Your influences? Grew up when hip hop was just rap then it hit mainstream. I come from a large family of athletes so we would listen to all types of music to get amped before games and stuff. I personally felt Rakim, Nas, Kool G Rap, Run DMC, BDP, Tribe called Quest, 2-PAC, Big-L and BIGGIE. Favorite spot? Las Vegas...the city never sleeps Anything else...?
