I have many different influences. First and foremost are rappers with interesting voices. Then there are rappers that have fun. I also appreciate rappers with something real to say! So, if I had to name 'em it would go something like this: Pharoahe Monch, Methodman, Red Man, Busta Rhymes, Biz Markie, Beastie Boys, The Fugees, Xzibit, Big Pun, Dirt McGirt, Ghostface Killah, Canibus, Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Keith Murray, etc.

I did acquire some of my parents' tastes, as well! The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tennessee Ernie Ford, James Brown, The Mamas and the Papas, The Beach Boys... I couldn't live without the Four Tops!

Mostly comic books. Reference books. Rhyming dictionaries. I own a copy of the Art of War, but, sadly, have never read it.

I love movies. There are so many to list. Let me break it down like this. Anything with Bill Murray. Anything with Mel Brooks. Anything with Terry Gilliam. Anything with Bruno Kirby. Anything with William H. Macy. Anything with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Anything with James Earl Jones. Anything with Tim Curry.

I watch lots of hip hop/rap documentaries. Including: Freestyle. Scratch. The Art of 16 Bars. Various tours and live concerts.
