The keyboard being the first instrument that started a wave of ingenuity for this producer, growing up Mike A.K.A. MD used basketball and music to avoid the mean streets of Trenton, NJ. Basketball was an integral part of his H.S. years but when H.S. ended Mike’s passion for music overrode any dreams of professional basketball. From that point on the keyboard and MPC became MD’s best-friend. As time went on a mother’s worse fear happened…the streets called for her son. It took for MD to lose the two closest people to the jail system for him to realize that he had a second chance. From that moment on MD started to look at his life and how music played an integral part. Mike started to learn and understand the ins and outs of the music industry. Making beats and tweaking its sound to make sure his versatility would fit any artist. To today’s date Mike has co-produced a video (Paper Shake, viewable on YouTube keyword: papershake Trenton, NJ)and produced numerous tracks for underground artists.
