Considered by many to be one of hip-hop's greatest underground/upcoming producer, Mike Jay (Michael D. Jay, December 14, 1974) being around during the birth of west coast hip-hop during the 1980s, Emjay found himself scratching on the 1's and 2's till he touched a mini moog analog synthesizer, Roland TR808 and got hooked. Years later Mike Jay is responsible for producing/composing a lot of independently sold street hits around California, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Las Vegas and that's just to name a few.
