Chicago born Ill State connect representer.Born and raised in the GO ( Chicago ) Q learned early that it wasn't gonna be a smooth ride to the top. Since elementary school he has been spitting bars on the back of the school bus, along with some of his friends chistey, keke, ray just to name a few not knowing that talent that was within. It wasn't until his junior year of high school that he realized how strong his talent was, but not being a battle rapper he didn't bother to get in many battles. "Stick to what you know" and he did just that writing night and day. That was were it began, from there he started doing talent show, block parties, even occasionally bringing a radio on the train just to have the chance to be heard. In 2000 he joined the army and joined up with a few soldiers and began doing shows on post. Understanding the fact that two heads are better than one he decided to take it to the next level and start a group ( The BOSS Click ) which ended because of lack of communication within the group. Back to square one, solo again he decided to make a even bigger step. In 2004 shortly after departing from the military Q realized that he needed to make a name for his self.Moving and visiting different cities in Illinois he began meeting a lot of interesting artists to whom had the same hunger as he did( Jazz- Springfield, Peter Pual- Decatur, Ossila the Don- Springfield, Duece Duec- Chicago). That was when ILL STATE CONNECT was created in hopes to unite various artists in Illinois and bringing the Mid West to the power house status it has longed for.If he isn't a household name he sure will be
