J Brazil born Yosef Brazil to Rabbi Shmuel Brazil, a legendary Jewish singer. At the age of 6, J Brazil started writing songs that were produced and distributed on his fathers albums, which have sold tens of thousands of records. These songs have become classics through out the Jewish community. Unfortunately, at the age of 14, J Brazil suffered the lose of his mother. At this young age the impact was devastating. Feeling as though all his dreams had been crushed, J Brazil rapidly accelerated in the wrong direction, turning to drugs and violence. J Brazil found himself constantly getting into trouble with the law, which led him to many behavioral and rehabilataion centers. J Brazil found that his music allowed him to express his heart in the way he once did when he was young.
