From the streets of Baltimore, Maryland a male child is catapulted into his future. At a tender age of ten the boy who would become Illegal Dollar would never understand that his extreme difficulty came to contour (form) and force him to receive all that his life and the industry has to offer. With a certain amount of resistance engineered into rebellion we see the result; a boy lending himself to the streets learning and walking by the code of the streets. Some lessons accurate some not so causing him to rewriting the script for the soldiers he’d take under his wing and for those who would give ear to his music. This road wasn’t easy and with all living there were mistakes made. If we listen carefully to we find that a combination of strong maternal influence, family, and the streets have molded Illegal Dollar, bestowing upon him street credibility and an unmatched intellectual nature contained in the authorship of his lyrical content, an ear for a unique and distinct beat, coupled with the baritone voice flowing with polished perfection across the air space to fuse with any track whether created specifically for him or sampled. Throughout his duration as an artist he has enjoyed an ease that is not immediately discerned as it borders on a mellow but fierce tone conveying more than a probably but a definite, I WILL conquer.
