BORN AN 80'S BABY AS NAIMAH RANDOLPHE, FREEDA PAYNE'S LOVE FOR HIP HOP STARTED WHEN SHE WAS BORN. WHILE ATTENDING SCHOOL SHE GATHERED A RATHER UNIQUE SENSE OF PUTTING WORDS TOGETHER AND, ENTERED INTO VARIOUS SCHOOL FUNCTIONS TO SHARE HER TALENT WITH OTHERS. HOWEVER IT WAS ONLY POETRY THEN. AS THE YEARS CREPT AWAY HIP HOP WAS TAKING A TURN AND FEMALE ARTIST WHERE GETTING MORE EXPOSURE SO, AS SHE NOTICED THE CHANGE IN IT,SHE ALSO FELT A CHNAGE IN HERSELF... MS.FREEDA PAYNE WAS COMING TO LIFE. FACED WITH LIFES HARDSHIPS FREEDA HAD TO DEAL WITH THE PASSING OF HER MOTHER A YEAR BEFORE MIDDLE SCHOOL AND BEGAN TO FOCUS MORE ON THE STREETS. HER APPETITE FOR MUSIC NEVER LEFT BUT HER PASSION TO WRITE CEASED FOR A BRIEF MOMENT..... FAST FORWARD TO NOW. TODAY FREEDA IS NETWORKING WITH THOUSANDAIRES RECORDS A LOCAL INDIE CO TO POLISH UP HERE ACT AND RELEASE HERSELF TO THE WORLD!!AT THE YOUNG AGE OF TWENTY TWO FREEDA BELIEVES SHE HAS LASTING STAR POWER, CONSISTING OF AN IMPACABLE DELIVERY, RELAXED(SOMETIMES HARSH) FLOW AND A KILLER SMILE TO COMPLETE THE DEAL. TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE IS THE MOTO SHE LIVES BY... AND WITH THAT BEING SAID... THE TIME IS NOW!!
