"X-EL" born Elston Steele Jr. on Sept. 26, 1988 (Currently 18 yrs. old), is a rapper and music producer. X began making music when he was 11 while he was in middle school, banging on the cafeteria's lunch table. His peers saw his talent in making beats and they wanted him to do a beat so that they can freestyle to them. He has a good ability to perfectly mimic a beat used by discovered artists as well as creating his own. It wasn't untill he was 12 when he began composing verses or raps (but not complete songs). When he was 14, he was finally introduced to music production using software on computers. He then formed an independent record label then called Southern Hospitality Records in 2003, which would become the Hip-Hop branch of Wallace-Charles Entertainment which was founded by his father in 96'. Early 1006, he changed the name to Gutta Mouth Hospitality Records so that the name wouldn't make the label biased. It wasn't until he was 18 in 2006, he recorded his first hit single "Make'em Lean", although he started recording when he was 17.
Altogether, X-EL has produced over 20 beats and has 8 singles recorded, including "S.P.A.D.E.S." and "Do Yo Dance" being the best two. He currently resides in New York.
