The Man: R.E.A.L, born Quentin Hewitt on December 4, 1984 in Chicago Illinois, is a rapper, a producer, an artist, a documentary film maker, a father and a positive influence for his community and anyone who wants to listen. He took the nickname “Real” as young child. His Grandmother would say, “This is my real man!” R.E.A.L. has taken new meaning to the lifelong tag and has evolved it to the new definition: Ready, Even After Life.

The Music: R.E.A.L is currently producing for several Artists in Minneapolis at The Corner Studios. After shaking the underground with his rookie debut, The Circle, in May 2005, he is now working on his second album, S.T.A.R: STARVELING ARTIST, due for release in July 2007. The release of: R.E.A.L Recognize Real Aboveground: The Documentary is scheduled for MID 2007. This film captures the dynamic underground music scene in Urban America.

The Circle: R.E.A.L. he is a member of an official rap group, the F.A.C.U.L.T.E. Making good music and collaborating with other artists is a priority to R.E.A.L. The F.A.C.U.L.T.E. is working on a collaboration album to include tracks by: R.E.A.L., Lyph, Servmo and more. This team has been strong for the past 10 years!

The Past: Some Artists that R.E.A.L truly admires includes: The L.O.X., Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., Wu-Tang, 2Pac, Kanye West and Scarface. These artists have all demonstrated commitment to the Hip-Hop movement and the Black community. These are both attributes that R.E.A.L. embodies and embraces in his music.

The Present: Blaque December 4th Entertainment was launched in 2005 and continues to search for an outlet to express the love for Hip Hop through film, art and music.
