"The Villainous Dstudent Dingy" AKA D.E. AKA Damean Th6rn (Birth name Ernest Warner IV) Was born on April 19, 1986 in Warwick, New York. The oldest of five children he spent most of his childhood years growing up in the cold, harsh streets of Middletown (MCity) and proudly claims MCity as his original hometown. Before moving to live with his father (A garbage man of 40 years) at age eleven he was raised by his (Still to this day) crack addicted mother in MCitys’ own Summitfield Projects. From the time he was born he witnessed some of the darkest realities of life in the struggle. poverty, sex, drugs, domestic violence and crime. Over the years his visionary imagination and natural artistic gifts became a reflection of the negative experiences of his childhood. His art became his greatest weapon against an uncaring hostile society and the God he saw responsible. It wasn’t until hearing Chef Raekwons’ debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Links at age 14 did he realize without a doubt he was destined to be an MC. Because of the constant back and forth moving between his mother and father Dingy has lived and or has family that lives in almost every city in upstate, New York. Mcity, Beacon, Saugerties, Ellenville, Port Jervis, Newburgh,PK, Albany, and at age 16 finally settled in Kingston, New York. It would be the dark, dingy, bum infested, streets of Kingston(Exit 19) that would shape his Rap/Blues/Gothic style. Dingy was once even a leading member of the unheard rap group Kurupted Kids, under the alias Nero. He left the group when realizing the other members had lost their hunger and that they would never be successful. Since then Dingy (A Dark, Intelligent, Nigga, that’ll Get Ya) remains a solo artist in the Upstate Music Alliance movement known only as NOpeace. As a worldleader in the NOpeace movement he has grown from just a rapper and poet; and evolved into a villain of near omnipotence; unrivaled in his realm. He has become more than a person; but a symbol that personifies struggle and animosity. Devoted to upstate New York(845), he utilizes his passion for music and hunger for knowledge and continues to challenge authority and todays’ society. "In my mind the sun never shines.
