Getting straight into it, Alfonso "BORI PURO" Parra born in Stamford,CT Nov. 10th 1981. Raised in Bridgeport,CT by his mother, father was a dead beat. BORI has had a love for music since as far back as he can remember. He got into rapping while in high school but it was nothing more than a hobby. While recording with his cousin ABUELO he met SYNN and a couple years after around 2001 to 2002 DJ TITO GOYA and FLYNTT HEFFNER came down from the Bronx to get him. He became part of a "DARK WATERS ENTERTAINMENT".BORI's performed in New York and many spots in Connecticut. Around 2006 Bori Puro was featured in "LATIN RAPPER.COM" under featured Artist as Dec. feature,( http://www.latinrapper.com/artists_boripuro.html). BORI worked with "STATE OF THE ART UNION" performing at venues they had. BORI has collabed with people from New Mexico,California,Ecuador,Australia,Spain,Colombia,Mexico,Florida and of course Connecticut and New York. 2006 put out a mixtape with various artist called "THE REALNESS IN UNDERGROUND"hosted by DJ Halo. He curently just put out a solo mixtape called "DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR" strictly for the internet being sold on directly from his myspace page (www.myspace.com/boripuro2) through SNO CAP. He has his songs playing on different college and internet radio's and continues to grow in with the Underground Movement. His heart is in Hip Hop weather it be spanish or english. Bori has got down with "Mafia Negra Records" which is run by "Mike Mic" out of New Haven, CT but also has memebers across the tri-state and in all parts around South America. The MAFIA NEGRA RECORDS movement is getting stronger each day with numerous amounts of talent in the squad, apperances on TELEMUNDO "NEW ENGLAND", and video's from the camp the best is yet to come. At this time Puro is workin on his mixtape album "CHILD OF DA SLUMZ" which will be available through the internet and mom and pop shops for all the people who want that raw essence back in the culture.
