Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.
Alpyne Productions consists of one man... Alpyne. Starting out as an aspiring rapper in 1999, Alpyne spent alot of time writing, and searching for beats to express his feelings through, but continually ran into a big problem... beats are EXPENSIVE. After several months of downloading indrusty instrumentals and doing "mixtape" or "demo" style tracks over other people's hits, all the while contacting underground producers to work with and continually getting price tags of AT LEAST $100 a beat, he decided to produce his own music. Alpyne had no idea what this meant... at all! With no piano, guitar, high school band, or any other musical background, he delved into his recently purchased Fruity Loops Producers Edition package and began what he thought was producing. After about a year of absolutely terrible beats, Alpyne started getting the hang of it. Adding a midi-controller, 10 gigs of soundfonts, and roughly 20 gigs of .wav files over that year helped, as the stock sounds in Fruity Loops were just awful at this time, but by 2001, I'd have to say Alpyne was a force on the beat making scene. In 2001, Alpyne (then known as A.D. or Alpine Demencia) took his artist promotional mp3.com page and starting uploading his beats. Before mp3.com was sold and closed, Alpyne had climbed to #1 on the hip hop charts (thats right, he even topped Eminem and likes with these beats), was selling beats to artists all over the globe, getting over 5,000 plays a day, and never fell below #5 on the charts again. He was featured on tons of websites and was known very well online. When mp3.com folded, Alpyne took his show on the road. Travelling to Nashville, TN, Charleston, SC, Atlanta, GA, and many other locations, working with seasoned vets of the industry, sitting with A&R's from major record labels, and even partying with major label stars on there busses and at there hotels, Alpyne has done it off-line as well. This is a seasoned veteran of hip hop, r&b, and pop production. So if you are looking for truely original, industry ready production for your next album, mixtape, myspace hit, or whatever it is you are doing, please trust you are at the right website.
