"If a beat or a song doesnt make you feel a certain way,(Give you a feeling, of happiness, sadness, put you in party mode, etc.) then you should delete that beat or find what its missing. The most important element of a beat to me, is the drumz and percussion. This is the backbone to the beat. This is what people are nodding there heads too , not your horns. (Why in the hell can rappers and producers make that "Soldier Boy" sounding Playskool, Baby Einstein, The Wiggles, kick, snare, hi-hat, and 1 instrument muzik, get record deals and the brothers with real talent cant even borrow a dollar. Man I lef that 4 instrument sh!t in the trash right next to my 4 track Tascam cassette recorder, by the way damn we have come a long way. I remember when all you needed was 3 songs on a damn cassette tape with a bullshit mix for a demo. Now you gotta spend 1000's and already have yo sh!t ready for retail. On that note I would like to thank all the drug dealers for having a lot of cash and no jobs and able to drop 10 lame albums in 1 year before they get a record deal Ya Digg! Oh yeah thanks to the radio stations for taking that drug money and playing that garbage 20 times a day, especially here in Atlanta.
