Biography
Growing up in COLUMBIA, SC, BEAR, POLO_DA PLAYBOI and BRANDSON'S musical influences were Black Moon, Heirogliphics, da Liks, MC Eight, Tribe Called Quest, Common Sense, KRS, the list can go on and on.
In 1990 BRANDSON, POLO_DA PLAYBOI, and BEAR finally landed in South Black; I linked up with Uncommon Wealth and then Never Legal emerged. Never Legal is a crew of lyricists, artists, entrepreneurs, and true hip hop heads. Each Never Legal affiliate was sent to the Metro for a reason so we plan to make good use of our time.
As time goes on, organization and structure must follow. Early in 2004, we felt a label would be needed as more opportunities arose, so Black Market Connectionz was formed. Stay Tuned...........May 12, 2005, BEAR was one of the featured artist for the TRIBES Magazine Launch Party, Hosted by Vibes open mic at Montas Lounge. This was the beginning of many new things for BLACKMARKET CONNECTIONZ. On July 6, 2005 BLACKMARKET CONNECTIONZ became an official label, which consists of "LBS", DJ Paign, Branson Rich, and BEAR da Budha Junkie. Shortly after, BMC produced a mix cd called Da' BlackMarket Mixtape Vol.1 "Get It How You Know". BMC has also established a line of merchandise consisting of t-shirts and caps. The future holds great things for BLACKMARKET CONNECTIONZ, such as another mix cd (Vol. 2), performance shows and many more..............
