Biography read about me, my style and what I'm all about.

Siris aka Pharaoh Siris, was born on the worst day of the blizzard of 1979, January 4th in Buffalo, N.Y. His mother worked two jobs and went to school at night; they had very little money since neither his nor his sister’s fathers were on the scene. When Siris was 11 years old he started writing poetry that reflected on his short life and the music that he listened to. Siris spent two and a half years in juvenile facilities from the ages of 13-16, and then was sentenced to 2-4 years in a New York State Correctional facility at 18 years old. He went “on tour” through Wendy/Elmira/Down State/ and Green. Released at the age of 21 with only $40 and family support, Siris chose to continue on his path in a music career and decided that furthering his education would help put him above the rest. Siris iz quickly climbing the ranks of raps underground elite. He was featured as the outro track on the “Wu-Tang Corp” first underground mix tape called “Deadly Venoms” in 2006, where RZA amongst many other Wu-Tang Family members gave shout outs to officialize the album for an intro while on they’re last tour. Siris has captivated the minds of so many different types of listeners that stretch far beyond “Rap-Hip Hop.” His style is very edgy and authentically different, and he is very aware at “what the game needs now” a track on his upcoming album, “Slave to the Game” 07. “Siris” A.K.A. “Pharaoh Siris” say’s that Russell Simmons is right in stating that the lack of talent in MC’s and producers alike have destroyed the “Golden Era” He says that the internet and free file sharing has also brought the record sales down so bad that even major labels dont have the budget to sign too many deep tallent emcees anymore, they stick with a couple and sell there image to a max. But “Siris” also states that the golden era has not been destroyed, but that the “Gold” has run out, meaning talent, and the rest has simply been buried. “Who else but a Pharaoh to emerge with more gold” Siris say’s. The album Slave to the game will feature other “Underground” artists as well as a few main stream artists from the “Golden Era.” Siris believes in speaking truth and dealing in refinement as he is part of the “Nation of Gods and Earths” and has contacts at the Allah Center for youths” in Mecca, N.Y where he plans to make donations from his upcoming records. Siris has come to an overstanding when it comes to what’s real and what may appear to be. He maintains a level of consciousnesses throughout all his work but is still able to let loose all of his ill emotions and entertain with his magical voice/style/and words. He does not refer to woman as bitches/hoes/ nor does he refer to people as niggaz. He prides himself on being able to reach so many people on a serious level without the use of “Zombie” words. Siris feels that the music industry has the financial power/ influence/ and talent to bring back music with substance. As he has followed the footsteps of other great artists such as “ RZA/Nas/AZ/Tupac/50 Cent/Eminem/Rakim/Wu-Tang Fam, and other greats, he is confident that they will in return follow his footsteps not back into the past, but into the future of Hip-Hop, Establishing the difference in “telling” the dramatic story of reality, as opposed to “promoting” a dramatic reality. Siris Now lives in long Beach C.A. where he records his own tracks. Siris attributes his new life and successes to Mel and many other people that he bonded with in prison including: Prince Haseem, Prince, Dupreme Allah, Shakwan Allah, and the entire Nation of Gods and Earths "Siris Quote" "Hip-Hop Iz Dead. Now I Bring You The Afterlife" ....................................... ........................Rap Review - L.A .....................................Paul Fusco
